Submit a Joke

Here are the rules for submitting a joke to Cheering Charms. Please read them before e-mailing me your material; anything that doesn't follow the rules won't get posted.

All submissions MUST be related to Harry Potter in some way: books, movies, or fanon
All submissions must be rated PG-13 or below.
Do not submit someone else's material as your own.
Do not submit someone else's material without their permission.
Do not submit someone else's material without their name.
None of the submissions can be hateful towards JK Rowling or any of the cast and crew of the movies.
I do not intend to proofread all submissions but I reserve the right to fix character names.
All submissions must state which subcatagories they belong in, where appropriate
- for jokes: character, house, book, movie
- for stories: character, category
- for lists: new list or addition to 'such and such' list
So for example, a joke about Draco would belong to subcatagories 'Draco' and 'Slytherin' and an adventure story about Harry and Ron would belong to 'Harry', 'Ron', 'Gryffindor', and adventure.
All submissions must state "CC Submission" in the subject of the e-mail.
For Stories:
- If attaching a story it must be in txt or Word format.
- Stories must be proofread before submission.
- Stories must be readable; I won't fuss about comma splices but don't put 1500 words in one paragraph or put everything in caps.
For Comics:
- Images must be sent in as gifs or jpegs.
- No file size limit since using Host Department.
For songs, videos, and flash files
- These files must be stored elsewhere.
  - Your files must be up at a non-adult, noncommercial website.
  - The page your files are on must link back to the page on this site that links to your page, not the homepage. I'll send you the link after your submission is accepted.
- To ensure most visitors can see and hear the files:
  - Songs should be MP3 files.
  - Videos should be mpegs.
  - Flash submissions must say which version of flash used.
NO ZIPPED FILES

Cheering Charms is not an official Harry Potter website. It has no affiliation with the JK Rowling, the Harry Potter series, Bloomberry, Scholastic or any other publishers/distributers, Warner Brothers, or any other entity affiliated with Harry Potter. This fansite does not intend to break copyright law. Questions should be directed to me.
